Starfox Arwing

Here is my rendition of the infamous cutting edge space fighter used by the furrylicious Starfox team. I hope I was able to get across the sheer sleekness of it's design.

Hopefully we'll get an actual good Starfox game sometime soon, Lylat Wars (Starfox 64) was amazing and has held up spectacularly well, but the franchise needs to get back on track. This is one case where innovation should just be limited to making the core gameplay BIGGER, BETTER and PRETTIER, no silly on-foot rubbish required.

Although Starfox Adventures was fantastic (and still looks amazing), it's not really a Starfox game...

The Arwing is made up of roughly about 3000 polygon faces and was good fun to make, nice to do something mechanical. I was unsure whether to texture it more like the game models or leave it looking flawless (as most sleek cars are), I decided to leave it for now and keep the texturing simple. Great thing about 3D is how easy it is to add stuff and still have something looking good, not to mention the freedom.

The background was robbed without mercy from some random wallpaper site, you can barely see it anyway.
